Meet the founders
Allie Kaplan
Allie grew up in a creative household - her mother, an artistic spirit, with an eye for spotting the newest trends, and her father, a formally trained dentist, known for giving his patients the perfect smile.
When she noticed these teeny tiny temporary accessories, popping up on the teeth of todays biggest celebrities, models, and influencers, she became curious as to how she could get one herself. But professional application can be pricey, costing $100 or more for just one of these shimmering gems! Allie realized there was no affordable product that allowed this simple procedure to be done at home. And with that…Gemzeez was born.

Lexi Kaplan
Growing up, Lexi was always creative. As a graduate of New York University, she earned a BFA in Studio Art in 2015. Her dad Alan, earned his DDS from Georgetown University in 1987 and has been practicing Dentistry for 33 years.
Lexi noticed the popular tooth gem trend popping up. Everyone from famous TikTokers to models and actresses seemed to be partaking in the tooth gem craze. The only problem? Options for application seemed to be limited and very pricey! And so the idea of to Gemzeez was born.
